“Be still, and know.”—Psalm 46 Zen meditation can be seen as a practice designed to empty oneself in imitation of Christ “who emptied himself, poured himself out, and clung to nothing.”—Yamada Roshi, Zen Master FORMAT: Three twenty-minute periods of Zazen (seated meditation), separated by several minutes of Kinhin (walking meditation). INSTRUCTION: Beginners welcome; instruction provided. RESERVATIONS: Not required; regular attendance not required. COST: Free. Refreshments provided.
